Architectural Gem This architecturally authentic 1949 mid-century marvel is located in the popular Hillsdale neighborhood, on a well established and private .4 acre lot in Portland’s beautiful West Hills. It was one of the first homes built in the neighborhood; built by then owner and architect, Edwin Steindl. MonicaArts Design for Modern Living managed the design project for the restoration of the entire original historic home, as well as the addition of the Master Suite to this architectural property. High design standards and exceptional attention to detail was maintained throughout all phases of the work performed, predominantly by gifted regional craftspersons and the use of high quality materials and finishes. This property was restored and expanded to display a substantial art collection.
